How is a chemical peel performed?

During your procedure at RareV 🦋, we will have you lying down in a relaxed position to administer your peel.
We will ensure your skin is cleaned before applying the personalized solution to the treatment areas.
We will massage the solution onto your face and let it work for a specific length of time, which will be determined in your treatment planning session.
Then, we will wash the solution off your skin and apply a neutralizing agent.
You should bring a light sunscreen or a hat to wear outside following the peel to protect from sun exposure

What can I expect after a Chemical Peel?

Depending on the strength of the peel you have, you should expect the treated area to peel and itch from several days to two or more weeks. ⏳
A member of our team will discuss methods to care for your face during your appointment.
Please remember that no matter how much your skin itches during the post-treatment process, it is not good to pull the skin off. You may create scarring to your facial skin!
