How does a PDO Thread lift work?
A thread lift procedure is performed in one of our spacious, private treatment rooms at RareV. Prior to the start of the treatment, your skin will be thoroughly cleansed. Next, the PDO threads will be carefully inserted with the use of a needle before they are gently pulled in the desired direction. The threads are left in the face and will be absorbed naturally. Over time, the threads will help to stimulate the production of collagen and help to lift and tighten the skin. When cared for properly, the results can last for 1 – 2 years, and follow-up treatments can be provided to help preserve your outcome.

Due to the use of needles, there may be some slight discomfort. However, we utilize an anesthetic in order to ensure patients remain as comfortable as possible throughout the entire procedure. For the most part, patients only feel a bit of tugging and pulling as the sutures are threaded through the skin.
Typically, PDO threads are considered to provide fuller and longer-lasting results, especially considering their ability to also enhance the appearance of the neck and jawline. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, are a very quick procedure with immediate results.
